Acts 435

Acts 435 was inspired by the works of the early church, as described in the Acts 4:32 to 4:35. The early disciples of the risen Christ shared their possessions, and passed money to the apostles to give to anyone who had need.

Sidley Baptist Church works with Acts 435 to help people in our local area. The beauty of Acts 435 is that it allows the giver to follow the biblical instruction to not let your left hand know what the right had is doing when giving to the needy. The giver does not know who their gift is going to, but can trust that it is a person in genuine need, who has been interviewed by an Acts 435 representative at a church. Likewise, the recipient does not know who the money has come from, just that it has come through the church.
